The Residence Myriade is located in Beauport, on the North Shore of Quebec City. It is a private residence for seniors (RPA). Staff members provide services to autonomous, semi-autonomous retirees, those requiring short term stay convalescence, persons with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, and Cognitive loss. A good atmosphere reigns at the Residence Myriade. It is a cozy and safe environment. Moreover, very good employees work there. They will greet you with a smile. You will have fun at this private residence for seniors, since there are activities 5 days / 7. Various leisure activities are offered, such as zootherapy, the mobile library and many others. Moreover, a physician regularly visits the residents of this Beauport residence and there is good collaboration between the CIUSS and Residence Myriade.

Les rénovations récents (peinture, balcons, stationnement) améliorent l’apparence visuelle, mais l'organisation des soins soulève des inquiétudes. Depuis le changement de gestion, nous constatons un roulement important du personnel et des modifications d’horaires fréquentes, ce qui perturbe la routine des résidents. Plusieurs employés d'expérience ont quitté, remplacés par du personnel parfois peu formé ou éprouvant des difficultés de communication au quotidien. Malgré nos signalements à la direction concernant cette instabilité, la situation demeure inchangée. L'accent semble mis sur le visuel plutôt que sur la continuité des soins.
Questions and answers
La nourriture est parfois trop épicée pour des personnes âgées et les portions ne sont pas toujours généreuses (ex. pain à hot-dog parfois pas assez cuit). Pour le reste, la résidence est assez bien, merci
