The Residence Myriade is located in Beauport, on the North Shore of Quebec City. It is a private residence for seniors (RPA). Staff members provide services to autonomous, semi-autonomous retirees, those requiring short term stay convalescence, persons with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, and Cognitive loss. A good atmosphere reigns at the Residence Myriade. It is a cozy and safe environment. Moreover, very good employees work there. They will greet you with a smile. You will have fun at this private residence for seniors, since there are activities 5 days / 7. Various leisure activities are offered, such as zootherapy, the mobile library and many others. Moreover, a physician regularly visits the residents of this Beauport residence and there is good collaboration between the CIUSS and Residence Myriade.

Vieil édifice peu éclairé et déprimant. Pour les repas, on offre le strict minimum. Une tranche de baloney, 3 morceaux de patate et une petite salade et il n’y a pas de 2e choix. Le même dessert 4 jours de suite. Pas de craquelins/beurre avec la soupe et pas de petits biscuits secs avec le dessert. C’est tellement triste de voir nos parents devoir se nourrir de ces repas de faible qualité. Très peu d’activités pour les résidents, donc ils passent beaucoup de temps seuls dans leur chambre. Le personnel n’encourage pas les résidents à continuer d’être autonomes, au contraire, ils les infantilisent en les empêchant de faire ce qu’ils sont encore capables de faire. À éviter si vous avez le choix.
