L'Artisan - Résidence avec soins - Santé Valeo
Intermediate Resources (IR)
A continuum of care and services that evolves with you!
L'Artisan is a private residence with a vocation as an intermediate resource that meets the needs of seniors with a loss of physical and cognitive autonomy. This vocation is to support the resident in the evolution of his autonomy by offering him a continuum of care and services that takes into account his unique reality.
Located near the highway and Arthur-Sauvé Boulevard, L'Artisan's prime location allows easy access to many amenities such as the Saint-Eustache hospital, a fire station, pharmacies, restaurants, clinics, banks, shops, and many other services.
The RPA section of L'Artisan residence is no longer active. The entire residence now provides services from the public health network.

I've noticed that when you arrive at the residence, the workers are usually seated on the chairs near the elevators on their cell phones. Meanwhile, My father was left to his own devices on several occasions. He was at risk of injuring himself and he did. He was recovering from a broken hip only to fall and injure it again. They put an alert buzzer on his bed and chair but that’s not going to help if nobody comes which happened several times in my experience. While myself or another sibling was there, the alert would go off and either nobody came or someone would come 30 min later. He was found on the floor several times. They didn’t bother to call us when my dad was not doing well and he ended up being sent to hospital and passing alone because we were not alerted in time! Whoever is in charge of this place needs to have a talk with the employees and make them do their jobs properly. Something needs to be done about what’s going on In these places and how residents are getting treated!
