In 2021, the Sisters of Notre-Dame-du-Perpétuel-Secours, the Sisters of the Congregation of Notre-Dame, and the Eudist Fathers wrote a chapter of their history by entrusting their confidence to the LOKIA Group. The LOKIA Group, a real estate owner and manager, is positioned in a niche that leads it to accompany certain religious congregations in Quebec in their transition of accommodation. This collaboration made it possible to open the doors of Domaine Mahonia at 745 Avenue du Père-Pelletier in June 2022, a prime location situated at the top of the Ste-Geneviève hill, in the heart of the Saint-Sacrement district. This project welcomes both religious communities and laypeople under two accommodation sectors, the Espace Principal for autonomous individuals and the Espace Oasis for individuals with loss of autonomy. In 2022, the 8-story building has 312 accommodation units.

Je n'y habite pas encore. Mais je voulais donner mon appréciation à monsieur Mario Bergeron, qui nous a accueilli, moi et quelques membres de ma famille, pour de l'information sur ce milieu de vie. Je veux encore le remercier chaleureusement. En plus de visiter les aires communes et quelques logements, nous sentions en monsieur Bergeron, la sincérité de ses propos pour les nombreuses questions que nous avions pour lui. C'est une résidence très belle, propre avec beaucoup de verdure. J'ai en main une soumission pour un logement 3 1/2, 630 pi.car. Je reverrai donc monsieur Bergeron très bientôt pour quelques ajustements et peut-être prendre un logement un peu plus grand. Présentement en explorant quelques autres RPA dans ma belle ville de Québec, le Domaine Mahonia sur Père-Pelletier, demeure en haut de ma liste. Au plaisir. D. Lavallée
