Habitat Morin-Heights: Senior Living in the Heart of the Village

Located in the heart of the village, the Habitat Morin-Heights seniors' residence offers an environment tailored to individuals aged 75 and over or those experiencing a slight loss of autonomy. This service-integrated residence is a certified RPA (private seniors' residence) and features 30 affordable, full 3 ½ apartments. Included services comprise lunch and dinner, as well as a 24/7 security and monitoring service.

This project was developed under the Société d’habitation du Québec’s (SHQ) AccèsLogis program and is managed by a local non-profit organization. Depending on household income, tenants may be eligible for the provincial tax credit for home-support for seniors and the Housing Allowance Program (PSL).

The building is situated right behind the Chalet Bellevue community center, providing easy access to municipal and community activities. Numerous local businesses are also within walking distance, including a grocery store, a bakery, a pharmacy, the post office, and the municipal library. For outdoor activities, the area offers immediate access to local parks, tennis and pickleball courts, as well as the Aerobic Corridor trails.
