Maison L'Étincelle has two residences: Maison L'Étincelle in Verdun and Maison L'Étincelle in Lachenaie. It is the reference for seniors with loss of autonomy or with cognitive disorders, including Alzheimer's disease. The concept of these residences is inspired by Holland, where there are several households within the same residence. These are small living environments that offer a life like at home: living room, kitchen, bedroom and which provide a feeling of security to residents who are experiencing cognitive loss. Everything is designed so that the resident feels at home, if he wishes, he can garden in the backyard, fold the laundry, etc. The residences have centers of sensory activities specially adapted for an Alzheimer clientele.
