The new maison des aînés et alternative, which will make 72 places available to the population of the region, i.e. 60 places for seniors and 12 others for adults under 65 with specific needs, will be located on land adjacent to the Center housing and long-term care (CHSLD) Lionel-Émond, at the corner of boulevards Saint-Raymond and Lionel-Émond. It will offer its users a living environment on a human scale, made up of six air-conditioned units with 12 places each, and including a bedroom for each user, with an adapted toilet and shower. This maison des aînés et alternative is set to open its doors in Spring 2023.
