The Residence La Presence is located in Laval-Des-Rapides, near the Parc Saint-Martin and close to several services. It is a private residence for the elderly (RPA), which welcomes people over 65 with a loss of autonomy (semi-autonomous), those with intellectual disability and people who need a short term stay for convalescence. This residence also offers services to people under the age of 65 who have a mental health problem. Residents feel good at Residence La Presence! The well-being of seniors is a priority. Depuis que ma mère y est je peux enfin dormir sur mes deux oreilles. Les personnelles et la propriétaires sont des anges pour les résidents.
Questions and answers
The place is clean, the furniture is a bit old (depending on the item). Seniors are infantilized, the food is insufficient or lacks enough protein. This place appears to have received some complaints and is still in operation... The staff changes frequently, so there's no stability. Two people we know who were there were taken out of that place by their families.
