Résidence Le Foyer de Gaspé is a warm and welcoming private seniors’ residence located in the heart of Gaspé, providing a supportive living environment tailored to older adults with varying levels of autonomy. Our close-knit residential community accommodates 51 residents, featuring 22 private seniors' residence (RPA) units and 29 intermediate resource (RI) placements. We proudly serve a diverse clientele, including independent and semi-independent individuals, those in convalescence, or seniors living with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer’s disease.
Le Foyer de Gaspé provides a full range of services designed to simplify daily living and prioritize healthcare needs. Residents enjoy daily living support that includes up to three well-balanced meals and snacks per day, along with full housekeeping and laundry services. Our dedicated team provides personalized care, including assistance with eating, personal hygiene, and mobility support, as well as professional medication management and administration. With qualified staff on-site and security monitoring around the clock, families can enjoy true peace of mind. Specialized care, personal assistance, and short-term convalescent care can also be provided depending on each resident's evolving needs.
The residence promotes a safe, engaging, and social atmosphere for all our residents. We offer a wide range of social and recreational activities, including bingo, games, light physical exercises, and regular group animations. Beautiful common areas are available to all, featuring a bright dining room, cozy lounge, outdoor terrace, and a multipurpose room. For added convenience, on-site amenities include hairdressing services, coordinated medical visits, and free parking. The residence truly stands out for its breathtaking view of Gaspé Bay, offering a serene, picturesque, and peaceful everyday setting. Finally, the facility is fully accessible to individuals with reduced mobility, equipped with an elevator and adapted infrastructure, and bilingual services are gladly offered in both French and English.

Meals and Dining
A balanced menu based on the Canadian Food Guide is served daily in the dining room. Menus are planned on a five-week cycle. Breakfast is at the residents’ discretion. Lunches and dinners include three courses (soup, main course, and dessert). Allergies are taken seriously, and an alternative menu is always available in case of allergies or simply if the resident does not prefer the main menu. Our kitchen is certified according to MAPAQ standards.
