Havre de Paix: Intermediate Resource in Saint-Honoré-de-Shenley

Havre de Paix is a 32-place intermediate resource (ressource intermédiaire, or RI) located at 440 Rue du Collège in Saint-Honoré-de-Shenley, in the Beauce-Sartigan RCM of the Chaudière-Appalaches region. Operated by Groupe Première Ligne, it is part of the public health network. It welcomes seniors with a loss of autonomy who need daily support, as well as people living with Alzheimer’s disease or other cognitive impairments in a dedicated memory care unit. Residents live in single or double rooms.

Havre de Paix offers a range of adapted services, including meals and snacks depending on the room type, help with eating, bathing and hygiene, help with dressing and mobility, and medication management and administration. Nursing staff and care attendants provide a variety of care, and residents have access to CLSC services on site. Support for medical appointments, pharmacy delivery, housekeeping, laundry, a hair salon and pet therapy round out the services.

For hospital care, the nearest hospital is the Hôpital de Saint-Georges, located in the same Beauce-Sartigan RCM. Set in a peaceful Beauce village, the residence offers a calm and welcoming living environment. On site, a lounge, dining room, terrace and backyard give residents places to relax and welcome their families. Activities such as bingo, puzzles and piano fill the week, and security is provided 24/7.
