Résidence Bleue – Cap-Saint-Ignace (formerly Résidence du Cap) is a small-scale senior living residence for independent and semi-independent seniors. It welcomes 22 residents in the heart of the beautiful village of Cap-Saint-Ignace, in a living environment where life is good.
Here, we are committed to supporting our residents in a gentle and pleasant daily life by offering them services and facilities tailored to their needs. Our mission is to provide a warm, safe, and adapted living environment for all our residents, ensuring a lifestyle filled with comfort and well-being. Our core values are listening, respect, and kindness.
We offer a wide range of services to our residents. Three meals a day are prepared on-site and served at the table, along with two daily snacks. We are attentive to everyone’s preferences, and residents are encouraged to inform us of any allergies or special diets so we can determine whether we are able to accommodate their needs.
We provide 24-hour supervision, with a staff member present at all times. Assistance with getting up and going to bed, personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility is part of the services offered. Additional care can also be provided by staff at the request of an authorized CISSS professional.
The senior living residence is equipped with an access control system, and each room includes a call system to request help in case of need or distress. Support rails are installed in all hallways and stairways, and stair lifts are available to access both the basement and the second floor.
All meals are lovingly prepared on-site. Housekeeping is done daily, and laundry service is included in all our packages. We also organize a variety of individual and group activities for our residents in a friendly and lively atmosphere.
Additional services are available upon request to meet each resident’s specific needs.

Originally, the building of Résidence Bleue was a general store that was converted into a senior residence. At the time, it had 18 rooms spread over two floors. Today, the recent addition of an extra floor allows for four more rooms, bringing the total to 22. Since May 2025, the senior living residence has been managed by Thomas and Marion, seasoned entrepreneurs from the technology and communications sector. Parents of six children and deeply passionate about projects that bring people together and make a positive impact, they chose to give concrete meaning to their journey by turning to a field where people are at the heart of everything. Their mission is to put their expertise and their hearts at the service of seniors, creating living environments that are affordable, respectful, warm, and humanity.
