La Champenoise: Senior Living in the Saint-Sacrement Neighbourhood
Known for more than 50 years, La Champenoise (Corporation Notre-Dame de Bon-Secours) is a private seniors’ residence located in the heart of the Saint-Sacrement neighbourhood, near Maguire and Myrand streets. It offers 306 rental units, ranging from studios to one-bedroom apartments, as well as 20 beds in a private, conventioned long-term care facility. This evolving living environment provides a range of services adapted to the needs of independent and semi-independent seniors.
Residents benefit from a comfortable and secure environment with care staff available 24 hours a day, a variety of recreational activities and pastoral services. The basic rental package includes heating and electricity, cable television, telephone service and housekeeping and sanitation services twice a month. Several optional services are also available, including meals, housekeeping and linen services, bathing assistance and medication distribution.
La Champenoise also offers a variety of activities, including bingo, social dancing and yoga, as well as convenient on-site amenities such as a convenience store, pharmacy and hair salon.

Le tapis n'a pas été nettoyé, et la chute à déchets nécessite un nettoyage. Il y a un problème avec l'eau froide et un souci de plomberie à résoudre.
Nous sommes désolés d'apprendre que vous avez rencontré ces problèmes lors de votre visite à La Champenoise. Nous prenons vos préoccupations au sérieux. Les problèmes de salubrité et de plomberie sont réglés. L'acquisition d'équipements modernes nous permettent de laver les tapis par notre personnel au lieu de faire affaires avec une firme externe . Votre avis nous est précieux et nous nous engageons à améliorer continuellement notre résidence pour offrir un environnement de vie sûr et confortable pour nos résidents. Questions and answers
Plusieurs problèmes persistent dans la résidence. Les punaises de lit sont un enjeu depuis plus d’un an sans réelle solution. La gestion du chauffage pose aussi problème, il fait extrêmement chaud (jusqu'à 30 degrés), et il est impossible de régler la température. L'eau chaude est également brûlante. Malgré plusieurs plaintes, la direction ne semble pas faire de suivi.
Nous sommes désolés d'apprendre que vous avez vécu ces problèmes au sein de notre résidence. Nous prenons vos commentaires très au sérieux et travaillons activement pour résoudre ces problèmes le plus rapidement possible.
