Les Habitations St-Bruno

Located in the heart of the village of Saint-Bruno-de-Kamouraska, far from the noise of big cities, Les Habitations St-Bruno is a seniors residence for independent people living alone or as a couple. This community project was started by the organization Place aux aînés, with support from the Société d’habitation du Québec and local partners. Run by volunteer directors, the non-profit is a member of the Fédération des OSBL d’habitation du Bas-Saint-Laurent, Gaspésie et les Îles.

Surrounded by nature, the residence offers a calm and peaceful setting, just steps from Saint-Bruno Catholic Church, the municipal library and a convenience store. Rivière-du-Loup is an easy drive away for medical appointments and shopping. Two balanced meals are served every day, and residents can enjoy a fitness room, the VieActive exercise program, a monthly seniors’ lunch and a shopping shuttle.

The 1- or 2-bedroom senior apartments include a private balcony and plenty of storage, so residents keep their privacy. An emergency call system linked to a call centre provides peace of mind. As a non-profit, the residence offers some of the most affordable senior apartments in the area, and some residents may qualify for the rent supplement program.
