Founded in 2012, Résidence Gérard-Blanchet was built to the highest standards: superior soundproofing, magnificent architecture and Novoclimat certified. Located east of Roberval in the town of Desbiens, there are 20 housing units for low-income seniors, with balconies and individual air exchangers, all 3½ of approximately 720 square feet starting at $ 625 per month. The services and employees of the residence are managed by the Coopérative de services à domicile Lac-Saint-Jean-Est - a social economy enterprise providing home support. The board of directors of the residence takes care of the building, support and supervision of suppliers, as well as leisure activities.
