Located at 17725 Pierrefonds Boulevard in the Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough, CHSLD Manoir de l’Ouest de l’Île is a 208-bed long-term care nursing home for seniors with a loss of autonomy. Often called Le Manoir West Island, it offers personalized services and a living environment adapted to each resident’s needs. Respecting each person’s differences, tastes and values, it creates the conditions that help residents stay healthy and maintain their independence.
A wide range of adapted services is offered, including 24/7 nursing care and supervision, medication administration, help with bathing, foot care and palliative care. Three chef-prepared meals a day, two snacks, special diets, daily laundry, housekeeping and a shuttle service round out the services. A secure floor with coded doors serves residents living with Alzheimer’s disease or other cognitive impairments. Residents also have access to an on-site medical clinic and hair salon, pet therapy, yoga and an adapted activities program.
This West Island CHSLD is close to Lakeshore General Hospital, the nearest hospital, which has an emergency department. Residents and their families therefore have quick access to hospital care when needed. Staff speak English and French, and the home offers a family atmosphere in a comfortable and safe environment.
