The Résidence Humanis is an intermediate care resource offering 30 accommodations, located on Jolliet Boulevard in Baie-Comeau. The residence provides a safe, supportive, and structured living environment for individuals experiencing advanced loss of autonomy.
Its mission is to offer personalized care, adapted supervision, and daily assistance to residents whose needs require more attention than what can be provided in a standard living setting, while still promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
The residence operates on behalf of the Côte-Nord Integrated Health and Social Services Centre (CISSS) and works in close collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care, appropriate follow-up, and services tailored to the specific condition of each resident.
At Résidence Humanis, well-being, respect, and compassion are at the core of every intervention, making it a supportive place for individuals requiring advanced care and long-term assistance.
