Résidence du Cap is a small, welcoming senior residence located in the heart of Cap-Saint-Ignace, near Montmagny. The residence welcomes 22 independent and semi-independent seniors in a warm, safe and friendly environment.
The residence provides personalized support based on each resident's needs, with an approach focused on respect, attentive care and well-being. A staff member is present 24 hours a day to provide reassurance and assistance with getting up and going to bed, personal hygiene, dressing and mobility.
Residents enjoy three home-cooked meals every day, along with two daily snacks. Daily housekeeping, laundry services and a variety of individual and group activities are also available.
Safety features include an emergency call system in every room and controlled access to the residence. Support rails and lift chairs also help residents move safely throughout the building.
Résidence du Cap is located approximately 14 kilometres from Hôpital de Montmagny, keeping residents close to hospital services in the area.

Originally, the building of Résidence Bleue was a general store that was converted into a senior residence. At the time, it had 18 rooms spread over two floors. Today, the recent addition of an extra floor allows for four more rooms, bringing the total to 22. Since May 2025, the senior living residence has been managed by Thomas and Marion, seasoned entrepreneurs from the technology and communications sector. Parents of six children and deeply passionate about projects that bring people together and make a positive impact, they chose to give concrete meaning to their journey by turning to a field where people are at the heart of everything. Their mission is to put their expertise and their hearts at the service of seniors, creating living environments that are affordable, respectful, warm, and humanity.
