Une Résidence vraiment chaleureuse, sécuritaire, du personnel attentif, une confiance total pour leur ''confier '' mon parent. Enfin je dors l'esprit tranquille.

I want to say thank you to the staff and management of The Residence St-Jean-sur-Richelieu for their exceptional care and respect that they show their clients. They have proven to be our angels here on earth. My uncle has been a resident for the last 6 ½ years. When he moved from the supported living floor to the assisted living floor some of his previous caregivers came up on their own time to say hi and see how he was settling in. We have been very impressed with that degree of care given by the Residence’s employees and the quality of employee that the owners hired. In our search for a place where our uncle could live out his life in a loving environment as his mental capacities were deteriorating we visited several facilities in and around the area of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu that had the ability to provide increased levels of care as his ability to care for himself decreased: supportive living, assisted living and full time care. On our tour of the Residence, as we entered the full time care unit a “little old lady”, dressed beautiful, hair styled, and well groomed, came out of one of the rooms and walked right up to our tour guide, the Assistant Director of the Residence and hugged her. The Assistant Director, without hesitation, hugged her back as if she were a member of her own family. It was at that moment that both my cousin and I knew we had found the place that would care for our uncle. WE HAVE NOT BEEN DISAPPOINTED. During this pandemic we have not been able to visit as we would have liked. Not only does the staff care about the residents but the owners take a personal interest in their care. They are usually in the building and I have been impressed by their knowledge of each resident. One day we were visiting our uncle when a person, I thought to be a male caregiver, began to talking to him and from the conversation it was obvious that the person knew our uncle personally. The man than introduced himself as one of the owners. Another owner has taken time on several occasions to set up FaceTime calls where we can visit with our uncle. She has also send us pictures of him and taken time to be our Christmas Elf. Our uncle no longer knows us, but these FaceTime calls means the world to us. He is always dressed and well groomed. The most important thing is that HE IS HAPPY. The staff is patient and caring and we feel so very lucky to have found such a wonderful, safe and caring place. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

It is with a sad heart that we are having to say goodbye to the staff and management of Residence St Jean sur Richelieu. Thank you for the exceptional care that your organization has given our Uncle over the last almost eight years. He was very happy at the residence and their care and kindness made it that our Uncle was able to enjoy a great quality of life during this period of his life. He always spoke highly of how much he enjoyed the food. Thank you again.
