This seniors’ and alternative home, located on the edge of Pinel Street in Chicoutimi, on the land adjacent to the Centre d’hébergement et de soins de longue durée de la Colline, consists of 10 living units with 12 places each. Of these places, 96 are reserved for seniors and 24 others are intended for adults with specific needs.
This new type of accommodation is more reminiscent of a home and promotes human contact as well as a more active lifestyle, thanks in part to access to landscaped outdoor spaces and indoor facilities better adapted to the needs of residents and their loved ones.
