Résidence La Patience officially opened its doors on April 3, 2025, in Cantley, Outaouais. It was born from the shared dream of Passiana Pierre Sylla, a nurse with over 17 years of experience (including 4 years in Quebec), and her husband James Pierre, a teacher, educator, and administrator with 20 years of experience in the educational field. Guided by values of patience, respect, and dignity, they wanted to create a place where seniors can live in a warm, safe, and human-centered environment. Together, they took over and transformed the former Béa à tes côtés residence to establish La Patience — a family-style home with 9 rooms adapted to meet residents’ needs. This project is much more than a senior living: it is a heartfelt commitment. Thanks to strong local partnerships, a personalized care approach, and a dedicated team, La Patience already stands out as an exceptional living environment for independent and semi-independent seniors.
