This new Seniors’ and Alternative Home provides 64 new places in Nunavik, divided into 32 places for the Seniors’ Home and 32 places for the Alternative Home. The Seniors’ Home accommodates seniors with moderate loss of autonomy, who are supported until they lose their autonomy to a greater extent. As for the Alternative Home, it can accommodate an adult clientele with specific needs. This major transformation project for accommodation environments provides residents with modern, more functional living environments that are, above all, on a human scale and focused on their needs, and that are closer to what they had at home.
