Located in Rivière-des-Prairies - Pointe-aux-Trembles, Montreal, Lumain Group's new Residence Le Vertical (will open late 2019) is an intermediate resource affiliated with the Montreal Mental Health University Institute. Formerly the intermediate resource Fleur de Lys, this new building now offers 90 places.
One of the floors will be occupied by 30 people with mental health problems. The other two floors will welcome 60 seniors in need of physical or cognitive care.
Care will be provided by 10 attendants during the day, a number that will be reduced to 8 during the evening. Six attendants will be available at all times during the night. In addition, a nurse and a social worker will visit the site several times a week.
