Un manque de formation face aux personnes agées

Ma mère y a habité pendant 1 an, il y a environ 4 ans. Résidence moderne et à l'écoute des besoins changeant de la clientèle. Belles installations et chic. À l'époque (il y a 4 ans déjà), les préposés manquaient de formation à l'égard des déficits cognitifs. J'ai travaillé avec les personnes agées toute ma carrière. Il y a une façon d'approcher les personnes avec déficit cognitif afin de minimiser leur réaction face à leur environnement.

J’y réside depuis 10 ans. Ambiance chaleureuse, des résidents aux carrières variées et intéressantes, un agenda de loisirs bien garni, une pléiade d’installations intéressantes, des aires communes chics et luxueuses, de plus, la résidence est située près de parcs aux sentiers invitants. Le personnel y est professionnel, chaleureux et dévoué. En hiver, nous avons accès aux soins de santé, restaurant, épicerie et pharmacie sans mettre le nez dehors ! Y vivre est un charme.
