Located next to Honoré Beaugrand Metro station and close to Highway 25, the Manoir Claudette Barré is an easy-access seniors' residence in the Mercier Hochelaga Maisonneuve district of Montreal. This private seniors' residence (RPA) welcomes autonomous and semi-autonomous seniors.
At Manoir Claudette Barré, it is important to provide quality service to residents. Staff members care about the well-being, safety and health of the elderly. You will find over 214 modern apartments spread over 7 floors. From the studio to the 2 ½, each of them has a private bathroom and a kitchenette. The building is also fully equipped with sprinklers !
This residence has 38 care units located on the 2nd floor for people at the onset of cognitive illness and also 36 units on the 3rd floor, which accommodate people who require more care and supervision. They are in all respects secure and coded.
The activity room has all the advantages of a multifunctional room allowing the projection of films, the holding of board games, the making of handicrafts or the presentation of conferences and demonstration workshops. In addition, group outings are regularly organized.

Étant ancienne employée du manoir, je peux dire que les employées essaient de faire du bon travail, malgré des conditions de travail difficiles. Ils ne reçoivent pas les meilleurs traitements par la direction du manoir, mais gardent le bonheur des résidents en tête. Ils travaillent vraiment fort et leur travail est très peu reconnu.
