Maison des aînés et alternative de Châteauguay

The maison des aînés et alternative de Châteauguay will be made up of 10 households of 12 residents. Eight (8) of them will be intended for people with a very great loss of autonomy and who present major neurocognitive disorders. The other two (2) households will welcome adults living with a disability due to a physical deficiency, an intellectual deficiency or an autism spectrum disorder.
In addition, the premises will be set up to promote intergenerational activities. An early childhood center will be integrated into the building, a multipurpose room will be available for community organizations and volunteers, and spaces will be dedicated for caregivers and programming open to community partnership and citizen participation. Open its doors in Spring 2023.
