La Maison Niverville is a residence for seniors. It is located in downtown Trois-Rivières, near Champlain Park, overlooking the Cathédrale de L’Assomption. Several services and places of interest are nearby. In addition to the public library, there is a pharmacy, several shops and restaurants, a bakery, a convenience store, a post office, a CLSC and many heritage buildings.
La Maison Niverville offers 38 accommodation rooms, including 20 convalescent rooms as an intermediate resource (IR) recognized by the public health network and 17 accommodation rooms for permanent residents. La Maison Niverville provides health care services that meet the highest standards of hygiene, empathy and humanity. Services are adapted to the situation of each resident.
La Maison Niverville offers its residents 3 meals a day as well as 2 snacks. Meals are always prepared with love and according to the high standards of a healthy, delicious and high quality diet. Assistance with food, help with bathing, washing of bedding and clothes are added to the services offered.
La Maison Niverville provides its residents with 24-hour supervision by orderlies. They are trained to provide all required care: CPR training and other training related to the movement of people, medication, hygiene, fall prevention, etc. Nursing is available every day, 7 days a week, from 7:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Depuis que je suis ici, je récupère tellement. Je dors bien et tout est calme. Ma santé va mieux et je sens que je prends des forces. La Maison Niverville est vraiment un havre de paix.

Ma mère y a séjourné pendant deux semaines et elle a été satisfaite tant par l'empathie des employés que par la qualité de la nourriture offerte. Son séjour lui a permis de récupérer les forces qu'il lui manquait alors pour s'occuper d'elle-même. J'y allais plusieurs fois par jour. J'ai vu les planchers laver trois fois plutôt qu'une par quart de travail. J'ai vu les attentions toutes particulières que prenaient les préposéEs envers ma mère qu'ils et elles ont traitéEs comme si elle faisait partie de leur propre famille. Il faudrait être vraiment mal intentionné pour considérer cette résidence comme une ressource médiocre compte tenu des gens que j'y ai croisés. Ce sont des gens de coeur qui ont accueilli et servi ma mère à la Maison Niverville. Je n'hésiterais pas à vous recommander cette maison pour y faire une convalescence.
