The Residence Myriade is located in Beauport, on the North Shore of Quebec City. It is a private residence for seniors (RPA). Staff members provide services to autonomous, semi-autonomous retirees, those requiring short term stay convalescence, persons with Parkinson's and Alzheimer's, and Cognitive loss. A good atmosphere reigns at the Residence Myriade. It is a cozy and safe environment. Moreover, very good employees work there. They will greet you with a smile. You will have fun at this private residence for seniors, since there are activities 5 days / 7. Various leisure activities are offered, such as zootherapy, the mobile library and many others. Moreover, a physician regularly visits the residents of this Beauport residence and there is good collaboration between the CIUSS and Residence Myriade.

Roulement de personnel constant donc peu familier avec l'établissement et l'état des résidents (suivi du journal de bord). Surcharge de travail évidente et épuisement vu le manque de personnel (infirmière/préposés non formés). Surpris à l'occasion certains préposés à naviguer sur leur cellulaire ou disparaître pour faire des appels personnels à défaut de consacrer le temps requis au bien-être des résidents. Les soins ne sont donc pas donnés dans les règles de l'art malheureusement. Circulation des informations laisse grandement à désirer ce qui est un indice révélateur de l'ambiance de travail au sein du personnel qui évolue plus souvent qu'autrement en silo au lieu de miser sur le travail d'équipe. Aucune présence d'un leader. Hésitation constante face à nos interrogations ou demandes car le personnel a peu ou pas de réponses concrètes ou souvent peu d'expérience. Mise en nuit laisse à désirer. Activités et loisirs de moindre qualité. Nourriture type familial.
Questions and answers
La résidence est propre et les soins corporels, c'est correct. Par contre, l'entretien des vêtements est ordinaire. Ils manquent employés alors il font ce qu'ils peuvent.
