Ma mère a séjourné deux mois dans l’unité prothétique de cette résidence. Atteinte de Parkinson, elle éprouvait des difficultés à marcher, se lever, manger et s’habiller seule. J’avais indiqué au directeur les soins et l’aide requis, et il m’avait assuré qu’elle aurait tout cela! Or, ce fut l’horreur. Services déficients, manque constant de personnel, attentes interminables, appels laissés sans réponses. Elle est tombée à quelques reprises dans la salle de toilette et, malgré ses appels, un préposé l’a aidé deux heures plus tard!
Questions and answers
Ma mère vient tout juste d’aménager dans une unité de soins à la résidence et je fût personnellement très agréablement surpris par le dynamisme de la direction et des employés. J’ai eu l’occasion de voir le personnel en action à quelques reprises et j’ai vraiment apprécié l’accueil qu’ils ont réservés à ma mère dès son arrivée. Jusqu’à date tout va très bien et j’ai vraiment confiance que tout continuera de bien se passer au fil des mois à venir.
