The residence Louis XIV belongs to a family business that takes care of the elderly for more than forty years. We attribute our success to the quality of our care, our services and the attention we pay to our residents.
The residence are for people with loss of physical or cognitive autonomy and whose services are according to the needs of the client. The residence aim to be a safe, pleasant and warm place to live.
Our residence is suitable for clients with cognitive loss, physical disabilities or Non-autonomous. We can also offer convalescence and mental health care.

Near the Residence
Depuis plus de 3 mois ma mère séjourne à cette résidence, et autant le personnel (forte majorité féminine) que moi-même sommes heureuses de constater qu'elle s'y sent de plus en plus en confiance et apaisée grâce à tous les efforts qui sont déployés pour favoriser son bien-être. (et celui de l'ensemble des aîné.es.) Le point que je veux souligner rejoint la communication entre le personnel et les personnes âgées. J'ai d'ailleurs déjà écrit une note à ce sujet disant souhaiter qu'on appelle notre mère par son joli prénom ( Madame É.) plutôt que par son nom. Sur le plan relationnel, le contact risque d'être plus chaleureux avec son prénom, dépendamment de l'intonation/du regard qui l'accompagne.etc. Il faut se rappeler que plusieurs personnes retournent à l'enfance, aiment la présence d'une poupée, d'un jouet. etc. Le prénom est un marqueur fort de l'identité et ce, dès le bas âge. Donc, j'en appelle à la Direction de Louis X1V et à l'ensemble du personnel impliqué dans le groupe Thomassin de se pencher sur cette proposition, quitte à utiliser les 2 approches (avec le prénom/ avec le nom) selon les réactions observées.
